"Reflections in light - WAVE / PARTICLE" is a new work by Arve Henriksen and Sigurd Hole, commissioned by Festspillene i Elverum 2022. The work will be premiered in Hamardomen on August 11th at 22.

The work draws inspiration from the changing nature of light and its dynamic presence in time and space. The music can be seen as an extension of Hole's solo work, where exploration of the double bass' harmonic spectrum is a central aspect.

DUALITY is written for a duo with double bass and voice (baritone, Bernt Ola Volungholen). This piece will be premiered June 18th 2022 in Hamardomen, as part of the Flagstad festival.

DUALITY is a slowly moving exploration of a short verse by Rumi, examining every word and syllable as they echo through the long reverb in Hamardomen and pushing the range of dynamics from powerful f to almost inaudible whispers creating painterly sonic textures.

All day and night, music,
